Imagine a Dragon (Full Day, 2 week camp)
In this full day, 2 week camp, performers will help build a show from the ground up. As part of an ensemble, they will work through a script, build character, learn music and stage direction, help to create props and the set while nurturing their performance skills. Everyone will have a part! Imagine a Dragon is presented through special arrangement with Beat by Beat Press (www.bbbpress.com).
Note: This camp is for the more serious performer who is ready to put on a 45-minute theatrical production. A video audition is requested with plenty of resources available to help prepare the performer prior to our start date. Actors will be cast early giving up to 2 weeks with the script.

Synopsis
The dragon is back in town! Well… not really. That’s the story a ragtag band of innkeepers makes up, desperate to draw questing heroes to the struggling Dancing Dragon Inn. Soon the inn is full of unexpected guests, from an army of princesses out to prove their bravery, to a group of overwhelmed heroes trying to hold onto their fame. But what happens if they all discover the innkeepers’ dragon story is made up? Could there be more than one way to save the day? An epic folk-rock score brings magic to this funny, heartfelt fantasy musical.
